Attractive year round, early spring gray green buds emerge, by mid summer the plant is a lush mound, in late summer the pale pink buds mature to rosy red. The dried flowers and stems last until spring. Long lived, excellent rock garden or border plant. Fleshy leaves are cactus like. Indestructible plants need not be disturbed unless an increase is desired. Other common names Rose Live-Forever, showy Stonecrop which refers to the ability of many species to flourish on stony ledges. |
