This remarkable tropical plant can be grown inside your home and produce edible bananas! The large spiraling leaves unfold with purple blotching against deep green that makes a very ornamental indoor plant. The conspicuous dark red, purple, and yellow blossoms are followed by the typical bundle of fruit that can contain as many as 10 fruit. Dwarf Cavendish is a hybrid triploid variety bearing delicious, seedless fruit. This variety was bred specifically with the homeowner in mind and will consistently bear fruit as long as the night temperature stays above 65 degrees F. |
