Planting Requirements:   Set at same soil level as in container, firm and water well.

Growth Rate:   Fast once established, which takes approximately 4 - 6 weeks.
 
Unique Characteristics:   Originally introduced by Wayside Gardens in 1949. This is a totally unique color in lilacs, there is no other color that comes close to it. Handsome and compact, covering itself with the large panicles of flowers that become richer with age. The best color shows after about 5 years. However it does not develop such an intense color in warmer climates. Care-free and hardy.
