Just when the flowers in many borders, cottage gardens and cutting gardens are fading, these beauties emerge to revive them. These Tall Phlox grow up to 40" and are packed with fragrant blooms. Peppermint Twist for cheery pink and white blossoms. A pleasantly spicy scent completes their charm.

Planting Requirements:   Plant firmly, set the buds 1" - 2" below soil level. If potted, set at same level it is in the container. Firm soil and water thoroughly.
 
Soil Requirements:   Well drained. Many phlox tend to be susceptilbe to mildew, so plant in a sunny, airy location with good air circulation.
 
Growth Rate:   Moderate to fast.
 
Unique Characteristics:   Bright pink and white pinwheel bloom clusters on tall stems grouped together is a site to behold. It will definitely catch your eye in the landscape as well as a cut-flower arrangement. Besides the bright, beautiful color combination the blooms are sweetly fragrant. You can't go wrong with tall phlox in your garden or landscape, this one is definitely a must have.
 
Pruning:   Remove spent flower heads to encourage reblooming. Trim back to 2"-4" if mildew is a problem.
 
Time of Pruning:   After flowering.
 
Additional Information:   This variety of phlox is resistant to powdery mildew, a common problem with phlox paniculata.
